Strategic Healthcare Operations Expert Driving Measurable Results
Dr. Trenessa K. Jones is the Managing Director and Principal Consultant of Tri-Kinetic Healthcare Solutions, where she partners with healthcare organizations to resolve complex operational challenges, optimize systems, and improve organizational performance.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Fayetteville State University, as well as a master’s degree in Journalism and a doctorate in Strategic Leadership and Organizational Management from Regent University.
With more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Jones is widely recognized for her expertise in healthcare operations, grant strategy, systems leadership, and organizational performance improvement.
Leadership in Public Health Operations
In 2016, Dr. Jones was recruited by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control to serve as Director of the Best Chance Network (BCN) Program, the state’s CDC-funded breast and cervical cancer screening initiative.
Under her leadership:
Annual screenings increased from approximately 8,000 to more than 16,000 per year.

Provider network participation expanded from 125 to more than 250 statewide sites.

Grant funding increased from $2.8 million to $5.87 million.
Her leadership strengthened operational efficiency, expanded statewide access, and improved long-term program sustainability.
Enterprise-Level Systems Leadership
In 2022, Dr. Jones was promoted to Director of the Bureau of Operations Support within the South Carolina Department of Public Health, where she led enterprise-level operational and regulatory functions across multiple healthcare systems portfolios.
Her leadership responsibilities included:

Management of the Certificate of Need Program.

Leadership of Health Facilities Construction, Quality, and Training Sections.

Oversight of statewide operational systems, including ImageTrend and REDCap.
